im not a huge fan of the genre

but i know skill when i hear it. this is pretty legit. i use FL 8 too, perhaps we aught to collab?

Crystallize responds:

Yeah sure what is ur type of genre? :)

i dig this

your mixing aint so hot, but i like the vibe. it has a great ratatat-esque feel.

quite good

mixing wasn't perfect, but not many can stake a claim to that ;) is your guitar work live? it's quite good, too. i'm not much of a metalhead, but i seriously dig this.

HappyHomicide responds:

I think this is one of the best mixes i've heard in a while... Yes, the guitar is live. glad you enjoyed it!

a rare treat

although the composition is simple in terms of instruments used, it's execution is far above the New Grounds average, especially in terms of recording quality. this was very nice to listen to.

not bad

i like to write reviews as i listen to them
+/- common chord progression
-erratic composition, needs transitions
+melody matches title very well, and it is a very nice melody at that
+mixing is palatable
-no ending

hey, i liked it more so than i do most songs with this chord progression, and i was wondering if you would supply me with your loops or bones so that i may create a remix? what hardware/software do you use?

15thDimension responds:

Thanks for the helpful review. I do realize it was a common chord progression, and I left out transition. I use a software called mixcraft, and use no hardware. As for the loops, I would prefer to keep them to myself. I don't have a problem, with anyone remixing it, though. They just have to figure it out.

i liked it, but its basically ADD in sound form

writing as i go

-needs an intro
-erratic song structure
+very interesting
-very erratic song structure
-lacks transitions (very necessary for such an erratic song structure
+mixing aint bad

hmm

sounds like you're starting to go down the road of making beautiful music, keep it up. and as for the song itself, well, it's very simple and repetitive. it's basically a huge intro without a song, a nice sounding intro, but just an intro.

iisatunasandwich responds:

Yeah. It's not all that great, it just sounded cool.

i liked it alot

great atmosphere, great sampling. the percussion is quite good too, everything is mixed rather well, although putting all that dist into the end was really off-putting. also it was really repetitive, but it was tolerable because everything flowed really well. good job.

Anima-Theory responds:

Thanks heaps for the review :D

Anima

haha quite happy indeed

but it isnt the disgusting corny kind of happy. i like this track, not just cuz its the good kind of happy but its composition is far above the average tier for NG. you got skillz. i love how many varied instruments you use. you use alot of different things, but it all blends together quite well. also, your mixing is quite good. my main problem is the nearly complete lack of low-range in your sound spectrum, as well as your lack of transititions. i think we aught to collab sometime.

SolusLunes responds:

Transition fail :(

haha i seriously dig this

great message.
